Port is seeking new commission member

Port Washington Mayor Ted Neitzke announced he is looking for someone to serve on the city’s Police and Fire Commission.

That’s because longtime commission member Terry Tietyen, a retired police officer, resigned from the panel late last year, Neitzke said.

Neitzke said he will be accepting applications for the position in the coming weeks, adding he hopes to appoint a new commission member next month.
