Port Pre-School to host farewell May 4

A farewell celebration for Port Pre-School will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.

The event will be an open house to give the community a chance to take one last stroll through the classrooms before the preschool closes its doors for good.

There will be a photo booth by Jami Last of Wild Rose Photography and balloon decor by Lauri Dehek of Wilhelmina Balloons.

Past teachers as well as the current staff and board members will be on hand for photographs.

Light appetizers will be served.

The preschool, which has been operating in Port Washington for 55 years, announced earlier this year that it would close its doors at the end of this year.

The preschool holds classes at First Congregational Church in Port Washington.
