Port High to present ‘Legally Blonde’ musical this week

Port Washington High School will present three performances of “Legally Blonde The Musical” this week in the school’s performing arts center.

Based on the popular movie, the award-winning “Legally Blonde The Musical” follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she confronts stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

Playing lead roles in Port High’s presentation are Isabella Schmitz as Elle, Brandon Hale as Emmett Forrest, Margo Halbleib as Paulette Buonafonte, Aiden Leinss as Warner Huntington III, Ava Schnappup as Vivienne Kensington and Matthew McCaman as Professor Callahan.

Stage direction is by Nancy Anne Davis Hart, music direction by Dennis Gephart and pit music direction by Chris Clouthier.

Shows will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, and Saturday, Nov. 5, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students through 12th grade and can only be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/WI19483.

The Port Washington High School Performing Arts Center is at 427 W. Jackson St.
