Pirates celebrate during a spirited homecoming week

Chosen to represent their classes during a week of Port Washington High School homecoming activities that began Sunday, Oct. 13, with a powderpuff football tournament were court members (front row, from left) juniors Abby Fritsch and Tessa Egerer, sophomores Jazzy Cannon and Kayla Johnson, seniors Jessica Boccio, Shelby Paradowski and Paige Vang, freshman Ashley Bensen, (back row) freshman Ryan Marquette, juniors Ryan Luib and Carson Roller, seniors William Handziak, Shane McConahy and William Stopczynski and sophomores Brayden Thompson and Ja’Quel Miller. The king and queen will be announced at halftime of the varsity soccer game, which begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. On Friday, the Pirates will take to the streets of downtown for the annual homecoming parade at 4 p.m., followed immediately by a community tailgate party at the high school and varsity football game at 7 p.m. The Moonlit Masquerade-themed dance will be held Saturday at the school.
