PHOTO OP-ED: Frigid winter leaves its mark on Lake Michigan’s shore

Under an afternoon sky that added the only color to an otherwise black and white scene, a black Lab named Tiller gazed last weekend at the miles of ice banks that formed along the Lake Michigan coast north of Port during the recent weeks of frigid weather, giving the already wide beach the appearance of being even larger.
