People noticing new vehicles
Belgium Village Marshal Leon Anzia told the Village Board last week that six golf carts have been registered in the village, months after the board approved allowing the vehicles on its streets.
Owners request the registration stickers be a little smaller, he said. Treasurer Vickie Boehnlein said smaller stickers can be ordered.
In addition, Anzia said, he has received complaints about all-terrain utility vehicles riding in bike paths on the street. ATVs are allowed, but complaints should be directed to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, he said.
