Pair of fundraisers set for Habitat

Fare and Flair, a pair of fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, begins Monday, Nov. 7, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 12.

The event starts with an online auction featuring $10,000 in donated items. The auction starts at 5 p.m. Nov. 7 and runs through 7 p.m. Nov. 12.

A tasting event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, 2360 Dakota Dr., Grafton.

The event will include food and beverage samplings, a wine pull, Plinko games and raffles.

The food and beverage vendors offering samples include Café 1505, Out and Out, Lo Duca Brother Wines, From Scratch Catering, Karol’s Kitchen and Catering, Kyotes Bar and Eatery, Larry’s Market, Man Shed Brewing Co., Miss Molly’s Café & Pastry Shop and Ugly Mugs.

The cost is $35 in advance or $40 at the door.

The online auction features a Paddle Tavern gift certificate, five-hour fishing experience for four on Lake Michigan, tools, dining experiences, gifts, Packers football and fan packages and collectibles.

The auction can be accessed and sampling tickets purchased by visiting and clicking on the Fare and Flair link or by mailing a check to Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee Inc., 2360 Dakota Dr., Grafton WI 53024.

Proceeds from the events will be used to finish the driveway and landscaping at Habitat’s Grafton condo complex, fund A Brush with Kindness repairs projects and finance Habitat’s next build project, tentatively slated to start in 2024.

Habitat for Humanity has built 12 homes in Ozaukee County since 2000.
