Oscar Grady has the ticket to plants and animals
Oscar Grady Library’s zoo passes will now allow Saukville residents to visit Milwaukee’s Mitchell Park Domes for free in addition to the Milwaukee County Zoo.
The passes will allow a household of two adults and children 17 or younger the chance to visit the horticulture conservancy and the hundreds of plants it houses for free. The passes also provide free parking and a 10% discount on items purchased in the domes’ gift shop.
The passes can also grant up to eight people free admission and parking to the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Families can register to check out the passes from the library at 151 S. Main St. on a first come first served basis.
Reservations can be made at the library in person or by calling 284-6022.
Passes can be checked out on Tuesdays then returned the following Thursday, or checked out on Fridays and returned the following Monday. A $10 late charge will be assessed each day the passes are not returned past their due date.
Any pass that is not returned within seven days will be considered lost and a replacement cost of $130 will be added to the patron’s record. If the fine remains unpaid, a municipal citation will be issued by the Saukville Police Department.
Passes must be picked up and returned to Oscar Grady Library.
Those checking out the passes must be at least 18 with a valid library card, have a valid drivers license and be in good standing with the Monarch Library System.
Passes must be returned in person, not through book drop.
