November activities for kids set at Port library

    November activities for children at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington include storytimes, a story walk and Sensory Saturday.
    A storytime centered around science, technology, engineering, arts and math will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month beginning Nov. 8.
    The storytime is open to children of all ages.
    Sensory Saturday will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 13, in the community room and is intended for families of children with a sensory processing disorder and/or are on the autism spectrum.
    The storytime is open to all children.
    A story walk featuring “Thank You Omu” by Oge Mora will be set up in Port Washington’s Upper Lake Park.
    The story will be placed on pages throughout the park, and children and their families are encouraged to walk from signboard to signboard reading the book.
    The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.  
    The library is at 316 W. Grand Ave.
