March 8 forum to feature candidates for town offices

A Town of Fredonia candidate forum will be hosted by the Waubeka Historic District Association from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.

The event at Fredonia Town Hall will bring together Town Chairman Lance Leider and challenger Supr. Chris Janik from 2 to 3 p.m. to discuss issues they feel are important to this election and to answer questions.

The next hour will feature incumbent Supr. Matthew Miller and three challengers,  Jenny Strohmeyer, Steven Jentges and Robert Eichner, who are running for two open seats.

From 4 to 5 p.m., there will be a forum featuring Lauren Simmons and Jodi Schubert, who are running for the open Town of Fredonia seat on the Northern Ozaukee School Board.

There will also be an audience question and answer portion if time allows.
