A lot of pasta for a good cause

It was a good thing the Waubeka Fire Department had a lot of spaghetti and meatballs to serve because its annual Italian Family Dinner Night drew more than 130 people to Bailey Hall, formerly the Waubeka Fire Hall, on Sunday. The event benefits the department and Kapco’s Kids2Kids Christmas. More than $300 in donations and 31 toys were collected for the Grafton-based gift drive. Standing by to serve hungry diners were (from left in top photo) Becca Caswell, Mike Kroeger, Brian Hodgson, Jenny Hodgson, Julie Depies, Olivia Caswell and Julie Caswell. With his hands full, Korey Fay draped his raffle tickets around his neck (above right). Carissa, Mark and Sophia Jaycox, who came from Boltonville for the event, were all smiles as they filled their plates (lower right). There were few, if any, empty tables at Bailey Hall.    Photos by Sam Arendt
