Local students earn academic honors

    Nine local students earned academic honors for the fall semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
    Students who earned highest honors achieved a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher, high honors for a GPA between 3.75 and 3.89, and honors for a GPA between 3.5 and 3.74.
    Students from Grafton include Ella Aspenson, honors; Kathryn Fix, high honors; and Ian Walton, high honors.
    Students from Fredonia are Chase Brouillette, highest honors; Madison Desimowich, honors; and Robert Parker, high honors.
    Other area students include Belgium’s Audrey Nagorsen, highest honors; Port Washington’s Nolan Large, honors; Saukville’s  Nathan Russell, honors; and Waubeka’s Skyler Plaskey, honors.
