Lions honor students for their work in school and the community

The Grafton Lions Club honored four Grafton High School seniors not just for their accomplishments in school but for their work in the community by presenting them with Student Citizenship Awards during its Feb. 3 membership dinner at Bunkers Restaurant at Edgewater Golf Club. Flanked by club President Dan Ernst (left) and member Jeff Nelson (right), who is also superintendent of the Grafton School District, were award recipients (from left) Natalie Conley, Tyler Heinle, Isabella Windsor and Elizabeth Krol. The awards are presented to students who exemplify the highest standards of leadership and service, and this year’s recipients are involved in activities that range from the Leo Club and student council to the Kapco Kids2Kids toy drive and church programs. They were nominated by their teachers and fellow students. Photo by Sam Arendt
