LETTER:Biden should follow favorite saying—’the buck stops here’
To Ozaukee Press:
This is in response to last week’s letter to the editor denying Biden’s accountability for today’s political mess.
Fortunately, we can easily contrast our present situation to our situation just two years ago. Two years ago gasoline was selling at $2.39 a gallon and within weeks after the start of the Biden administration a gallon of gas had increased $1.79. Two years ago inflation was not part of everyday conversation. Two years ago we had a southern border and today? Two years ago Russia, China, Iran and North Korea were not as aggressive as they now appear to be. These are just a few of the results of Biden’s policies and there surely are more surprises ahead.
The letter writer wrote about losing democracy if Democrats lose power. If the present day ruling party can try to redefine what a recession is, they will also try to define what a democracy is.
It is past time for Biden to follow his favorite saying—“the buck stops here”— and take responsibility for what he has created.
