LETTER: Why aren’t Tammy, Gwen and Mark helping to cut spending?

To Ozaukee Press:

The Three Stooges—Moe, Larry, and Curly? No, Wisconsin’s own Tammy, Gwen and Mark.

While most American’s are supporting ongoing efforts to reduce government spending and the size of government, Sen. Baldwin and Reps. Moore and Pocan are only complaining.

Pocan talked about a  bill he is introducing that will prevent Elon Musk’s company, Space X, from getting government contracts. That really sounds productive, when Space X handles most of NASA’s launches, doesn’t it?

Moore, who sits on the powerful congressional tax-writing body, could be working on tax legislation issues, but instead she does nothing.

Baldwin criticized President Trump’s threats of tariffs on Canada and Mexico without seemingly knowing the president has already received help at the border from Mexico and a pledge from both Mexico and Canada to help stop fentanyl shipments into the U.S. This happened by President Trump simply threatening tariffs.

Tammy, Gwen and Mark could be more helpful to taxpayers in Wisconsin and citizens across America if they would stop complaining and get involved in problem solving. Isn’t that what they are supposed to do?
