LETTER: Turn to private companies for EMS and save taxpayer money

To Ozaukee Press:

Should any of us be proud of doing something well that we should perhaps not even be doing at all? I ask this question about the area referendums to raise taxes to pay for EMS services.

This is mainly attributed to not currently being able to get EMTs. Are governments, even if they can do good work, trying to do something that could be handled equally well by private services?
