LETTER: Tiffany blames Biden while he excuses drug sellers and users

To Ozaukee Press:

This is a reply to U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany’s irresponsible and shameful letter to the editor, “Grafton fentanyl death shows consequences of open border.”

Selling cocaine is a felony. Buying cocaine is a felony. Using cocaine is a felony. Ninety-nine percent of fentanyl is made in China. Yet Tiffany pretends President Biden is to blame for four Grafton drug users deliberately buying illegal cocaine and being poisoned with fentanyl.

Via his deafening silence, Tiffany did not object to, hence approving of selling, buying and using cocaine—except with fentanyl. Tiffany should stop coddling criminals, blaming others for voluntary, illegal drug use, and have drug users accept their consequences.

The four Grafton users were all 30ish adults. Cocaine is well known to be fentanyl-laced, as they must have known, and they all knowingly gambled for a party high or group suicide. The Grafton police saved three; one lost his bet.

A real drug problem is that 90% of prescription drug bases are made in China. If China wants to “attack” America, all it has to do is stop exporting prescription drugs to America or lace 90% of U.S. prescription drugs with fentanyl. Since 70% of adults take prescriptions, let’s guess how fast 100 million Americans would drop dead.

What has Tiffany done about this real drug crisis in America, versus crocodile tears and condoning non-fentanyl drug use? Why is Tiffany not working on bipartisan laws to bring drug manufacturing back to the U.S.?

Some questions about the Grafton overdose case:  The drug dealer is known, so why was he not arrested for murder? Why was the known place to buy drugs not shut down? Why were the surviving drug users not arrested? Why were the Grafton police not applauded for their quick response and Narcan lifesaving skill?
