LETTER: Stop demonizing immigrants

To Ozaukee Press:

Everyone living today in America today is an immigrant or an offspring of immigrants. Immigration is the lifeblood of our country.

The huge majority of recently arrived immigrants are decent, productive individuals and families trying to build a new life for themselves.

To demonize and denigrate immigrants with untruths and scurrilous attacks is blatantly cynical and should disqualify those responsible from holding public office.
