LETTER: She stands up for Graftonites, deserves their trustee votes
To Ozaukee Press:
The Village of Grafton is set to vote for trustees next week. There are some important issues again, and residents know what direction they want to go. The question is which trustees will vote to represent the will of the residents.
We’ve had issues in the past, including what to do about the dam in Grafton. A referendum showed that more than 75% of the people wanted to save the dam.
Many people pulled together, including Lisa Uribe-Harbeck.
Since then, Lisa has always been a champion of the residents, taking their calls and listening to their opinions because she knows representation is what her job is about.
Being a trustee is not a power trip. It’s about listening to the citizens. We need Lisa on the Village Board to continue being our voice. We recommend voters support her with their votes, and she will respect their opinions.
