LETTER: For a scathing take on data center problems, tune in to NPR

To Ozaukee Press:

As a Port Washington resident, I’ve been following the data center destined for the north side. I listened to a most enlightening broadcast that I think should be mandatory listening for every Common Council member.

This comes from NPR’s “On the Media” program hosted by Brooke Gladstone. The podcast interview is titled “Brooke Talks to Ed Zitron. “

This man provides the most concise and scathing explanation of artificial intelligence, the tech industry, the stock market and economic growth models. It’s about 45 minutes long.

It is well worth the time investment and I believe would provide valuable information and perspective to Port residents. Honestly, I was somewhat ambivalent about the impending project until I listened to this interview.
