LETTER: Pro-life GOP candidates are not pro-women’s health rights
To Ozaukee Press:
Remember when the three Supreme Court Justices appointed by Trump declared in their hearings that Roe v. Wade was “settled law?” Then they overturned this half-century old freedom, and Trump took credit.
Republican candidates in Ozaukee County no longer publicize their being in alignment with pro-life, but they are. Republican Duey Stroebel voted to keep the archaic 1849 abortion law. Melotik has stated he is pro-life, not pro-choice. Meanwhile, pro-life candidate Rob Brooks’ establishment was cited for a patron selling fentanyl, resulting in a death and three hospitalizations.
Candidates Sinykin, Glasstein, Holzman, Andraca and Baldwin will protect women’s health care rights, the environment, education, the economy and democracy.
