To Ozaukee Press:
Great article in last week’s Ozaukee Press to bring some light to the school bus driver shortages throughout the school systems.
Now I know it isn’t just lack of drivers because of not wanting the job, but the difficulties of getting and keeping the state license. Why would the state need to require school bus drivers to know what is under the hood?
The public needs to move forward with messaging the Department of Transportation regarding their license requirements.
Thanks to Ozaukee Press reporter Michael Babock for his good reporting.
