LETTER: Power Port’s future with the clean energy of the future
To Ozaukee Press:
A city preparing for the future (comprehensive planning, updating zoning codes, enlarged public safety building) and facilitating industries and developments of the future (data center for the digital age, high density affordable residential development) should strive to be powered by the energy of the future (geothermal, wind, solar).
All or nothing, going from 0 to 100, may be too big a leap. But intentionally trying to move the needle with every new endeavor is worth considering and encouraging.
Thank you for a thought-provoking editorial about the need for renewable energy for the Port Washington data center. Change is inevitable, but what that change looks like is for us to influence.
