LETTER: Port and the county deserve credit for Clay Bluffs support
To Ozaukee Press:
I want to congratulate the City of Port Washington and Ozaukee County for their efforts in wanting to protect the Port bluff lands. Cedar Gorge Clay Bluffs Nature Preserve will be an asset to the people who will live nearby and to Port Washington and all of Ozaukee County and the surrounding area.
I wish the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust much success in acquiring the funds to purchase the 135 acres along the Lake Michigan shoreline and thereby saving it in perpetuity for people, animals and birds to enjoy.
This is a cause I will be donating to.
