LETTER: New development is ruining Port’s fishing-boating identity

To Ozaukee Press:

What are the Common Council and mayor of Port Washington thinking?

Port does not need another sports store and it does not need more condos.

These are ruining the look and atmosphere of what Port really is—a quaint fishing and boating town.

There used to be a place for a family breakfast downtown and a downtown grocery store.

That’s what the people of Port Washington want and what the people who travel to Port in boats need.

I hope the business people of Port see what is happening and get the council and mayor on the right track.
