LETTER: Melotik decides he will give up one of his three elected offices

To Ozaukee Press:

I have informed the Grafton Town Chairman Lester Bartel that I will be stepping down as a Town of Grafton supervisor.

We thanked each other for the time served together. I have enjoyed my six years as a supervisor and appreciate all that I have learned about local government through the leadership and experience of Chairman Bartel. I also thank the town staff, my fellow supervisors and town residents.

As for the Ozaukee County Board, I intend to continue serving as a supervisor through the end of my term.
