LETTER: Lies  from ‘hogwash throne’ in letter attacking Republicans

To Ozaukee Press:

A letter to the editor in last week’s Ozaukee Press, “It seems Trump voters don’t value honesty and integrity,” was disrespectful, uncalled for and a provocation for this rebuttal.

Saying “Republicans want to ban books” is misleading. Parents across America are concerned about books on mandatory school reading lists that are not age appropriate for their children. Some books include sexual passages that could not be read aloud at school board meetings.

The assertion that “Republicans want to ban abortion” is another fallacy. While I am pro life, the majority of Americans would like a moderate and reasonable law that most certainly would not allow an abortion up to the time of delivery. It’s now up to states being held accountable by their constituents to decide.

“Republicans seem to fear anyone that doesn’t meet their standards” is another atrocious allegation from the throne of hogwash. Most Americans, regardless of party affiliation, want legal immigration and lumping Republicans into racists is pitiful.

When Kamala Harris ran for the presidency in 2019, her progressive policies included cutting ICE and police funding, Medicare for all, a fracking ban and taxpayer-funded gender-transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners. She has subsequently flip-flopped on many of these. Why didn’t she set her record straight during her years in the

White House? It’s not a big leap that the reason is to now get elected.

Now after the complete annihilation of former President Trump’s border policy, 11 to 15 million illegal immigrants are here, including criminals, terrorists, human traffickers and drug runners.

Remember the attacks regarding immigrant children living in cages near the southern border? A report recently released states that the Biden-Harris administration has lost track of 85,000 migrant children and some may have been forced into labor. This is absolutely unconscionable and heart breaking. I know exactly where the buck stops concerning this.

Donald Trump, an outspoken and successful businessman, has stood strong and resolute in a barrage of insidious attacks using unbridled political power to take him out any which way possible, resulting in a convicted felon name tag.  Odds by esteemed legal eagles predict it will be overturned.

Wading through the hypersensitive campaign quagmire of imperfect candidates with glorious promises is a little bit easier as both have a political service record to consider. With my personal faith-based parameters, and the candidates’ job records, it’s no surprise that I will be voting for Donald J. Trump.
