LETTER: Library services supporter is good choice for Town Board

To Ozaukee Press:

I initially met Nick Offerman through his wife Shannon, who like my wife is a doctor. Both of our families had moved to Grafton around the same time and Nick and I really bonded over our shared love of community service and politics.

Nick has been in steady attendance at meetings of the Town of Grafton Plan Commission, Town Board and Ozaukee County Board meetings.  He does his homework and is not afraid to ask tough questions.

His primary focus of late is the town pulling out of the joint library agreement with the surrounding communities. He knows this will result in a reduction of services provided by the library and increased taxes for town residents.

Nick would like to help shepherd Grafton along to provide exceptional community services, great schools and wonderful parks. Part of that is having a good working relationship with the Village of Grafton so we can continue to keep our taxes low while providing the best services possible.

If you value participatory democracy, as I know Nick does, then please vote for him for Town of Grafton supervisor.
