LETTER: Let’s not fail the agencies that rely on giving to United Way

To Ozaukee Press:

To all generous hearts of Ozaukee County, we are coming down the stretch on the annual fund raising campaign for our county’s United Way.

If you have not had the chance to contribute, your check now will help push us over the top.

Over a dozen agencies in the county benefit from these contributions.

Let’s not fail them.

Sometimes we are asked if there are really needs in this beautiful, affluent, well educated and generous county.

The answer is definitely a resounding yes.

Please step forward within the month of March and write a check to UWNO, P.O. Box 39, Port Washington, WI 53074.

We know you get many requests, but we sincerely hope this is one you will not reject. It has long been our belief that giving to something important such as our county’s United Way will never hurt you — we promise.
