LETTER: Klotz is dedicated to schools and deserves election to board
To Ozaukee Press:
As a Port Washington-Saukville School District employee for the last eight years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues and under amazing leadership. Our schools and teachers continue to develop and improve, largely due to our positive and progressive school board members.
It is imperative that as a community we continue to elect members to the school board who will continue to fight for positive and progressive change, as the world of education continues to adapt to many new initiatives and directives. We need school board members who will not only be active within our schools, but will also have an understanding of how a school functions effectively.
This brings us to Yvonne Klotz, who is running for the at-large school board position. I have been lucky to know Yvonne for many years as a friend of her oldest son, and to have her husband Russell as my scoutmaster.
She has always been a light of positivity. I have known her to be welcoming and kind. Beyond all of that, Yvonne has been a teacher for 30 years and her love and dedication for keeping this community top notch is endless. I know that her passion will help her to fight for the best in our school district and our students. Please consider voting for Yvonne on April 2.
