LETTER: It is time to drain the swamp where Trump and cronies swim

To Ozaukee Press:
    As we get close to the presidential election, one thing is clear: Donald Trump is the most corrupt, dishonest and inept person to ever hold this office.
    The Senate Intelligence Committee recently found that Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, “represented a grave counterintelligence threat.” Manafort is currently released to home confinement because of the coronavirus pandemic while serving a more than seven-year prison sentence for his crimes.
    On Aug. 20, Steve Bannon, Trump’s senior adviser, was arrested for his role in a fraud scheme. Bannon and his cohorts were stealing from a fund set up to collect money for Trump’s ridiculous border wall.         
    Trump’s buddy Roger Stone was convicted of seven felonies and sentenced to prison, but Trump commuted his sentence.         
    I have a good laugh when I hear a Trump supporter claim that Trump is draining the swamp. The Trump administration is the swamp.                      
    I am looking forward to casting my vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I am looking forward to a better America.
