LETTER: How do politicians suddenly get rich after being elected?

To Ozaukee Press:

    In response to Mark VanLaeys’ letter to the editor citing Donald Trump’s wealth, “Richest president in history whines about being a victim,” has anyone considered what Joe Biden is worth?

    Remember, this man ran political ads stating he was raised in a poor family. Now he is easily a millionaire, if not a billionaire. Politicians’ salaries are not that well paying. Biden worked in politics his entire life. Where did that kind of money come from?

     If you don’t believe me, look at what AOC (Rep. Alexandria, Ocasio Cortez) is worth after just a few years in politics after working as a bartender.

    It’s pretty obvious that there’s a lot of fat to skim off the top for both Dems and Repubs.

     When Trump said he was going to drain the swamp, I’m sure he didn’t know it was that big.
