LETTER: Grothman keeps hiding from his job; he deserves to lose it

To Ozaukee Press:

Wisconsin’s U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman is apparently in hiding. Hiding from his constituents for more than a year. Hiding completely from in-person townhalls. Hiding behind fully muted telephone “townhalls” that allow only carefully selected questions to be asked. Hiding behind claims of more than 250 events and visits last year—none of which allowed voters to just ask a question and insist on getting a real answer.

It’s like Rep. Grothman just wants to hide from his job, you know, the hard part, listening to constituents, answering questions, explaining his positions, and acting in ways that actually help regular folks.

Since few of us can simply hide at work and expect to keep our jobs, it doesn’t seem right that Rep. Grothman should expect to keep his.

The 6th Congressional District needs better representation.
