LETTER: Gasper, a proven asset to city council, deserves re-election
To Ozaukee Press:
Citizens of Port Washington’s Third Ward, I am writing to share my endorsement of Mike Gasper to be re-elected as the alderman representing this historic and vital part of our city.
Since his initial election to the Common Council, Mike has brought a well-thought-out and rational approach to every item the council has been asked to address. His vast knowledge of our city and state ordinances and statutes ensures that we consider all the impacts of our decisions. He is not afraid to speak up to represent his district. He is unwilling to go along with the crowd when he feels the direction is wrong.
The professional knowledge and experience in civil engineering that he brings to the Board of Public Works and the Parks and Recreation Board have guided those teams in making the best decisions for the city.
Mike is a proven asset to the Third Ward and the City of Port Washington. Please vote to re-elect Mike Gasper on April 1.
Dan Benning
Common Council president
Fourth Ward alderman
