LETTER: Fritsch has served all students, parents, not just a chosen few

To Ozaukee Press:

School board members set policy and make sure the district is running according to that policy. Much of what school board members can do is dictated by state law, and their formal authority simply lies in their single vote that is cast during meetings. School board members who want a successful tenure need to avoid bringing strong political views to the table and need to advocate for the needs of all students, parents and community members, and not just a chosen few.

Our current school board president, Brenda Fritsch, meets those standards.  Through her years of experience, she has been part of the decision making that has kept our district in excellent financial standing for many years, allowing the district to renovate two school buildings, expand many student programs and form positive relationships between the board and community.

While education is ever-changing, one thing stays constant, and that is the need for reliable leadership with proven historical success. I urge voters to support the continued success of our school district by voting for Brenda Fritsch
