LETTER: Foy courageously took on challenge to right a troubled court

To Ozaukee Press:

After the primary, I had an opportunity to sit down for a cup of coffee with Angela Foy. The result? She has my full support. I would encourage anyone who supported my primary campaign focused on a fresh start for Ozaukee County Circuit Court Branch II to vote for Angela Foy for judge.

The Ozaukee County Courthouse has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons over the past couple of years. I am confident that Angela will bring impartiality to all parties in her courtroom. I am confident that she will do the hard work that is necessary to provide residents of Ozaukee County with the justice system we deserve.  During the campaign, and our subsequent conversations about what is driving her to serve, I became convinced she is the right choice for the job. She has the broad experience and conservative judgment that I believe we need.

Early on, Angela saw a need for a different approach for Ozaukee County Circuit Court Branch II. She exhibited courage, integrity and determination in throwing her hat in the ring. That’s the type of judge we need.
