LETTER: Don’t mock yard signs; they are healthy signs of freedom

To Ozaukee Press:

The writer of the recent letter to the editor making fun of yard signs, “A recipe for happiness: Take down our stupid yard signs,” has a right to his opinion. But the homeowners he criticizes have a right to express their opinions with signs on their lawns. It’s called free speech.

Some may not agree with the messages on the signs, but we should all support this healthy participation in the freedoms of expression we Americans are guaranteed. This is America, not China or Russia.
