LETTER: Developer asks for residents’ help on mill tear-down permit

To Ozaukee Press:
We are hoping to demolish and remove the smaller mill building in Waubeka.
I am sure that this would be a great relief to the people in Waubeka, as the street is blocked off around the building.
We are asking the people in Waubeka to ask the county to expedite a permit needed for demolition.
The DNR has requested that we remove debris near the River. We need a permit to get a ramp so that a backhoe can get down to the River for debris removal.
We are having to request a county variance to comply with state law.
