LETTER: Dems’ money machine won’t be outspent in high court race

Wisconsin voters have a clear choice in the Supreme Court race between Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford. After four consecutive races of Democrats more than doubling Republican out-of-state money to finance liberal judges, both parties have engaged their financiers in this race to make it the most expensive race for a judge in history.

Crawford’s financiers through the Democratic party include Illinois billionaire and governor JB Pritzker, California billionaire Reid Hoffman and international billionaire George Soros.

Schimel has attracted out-of-state money as well this time, but as in the past, the Democrats’ unparalleled money machine will not be outspent.

Brad Schimel is a just protector of Wisconsin’s law—judicial restraint, citizens’ rights, democracy.  Susan Crawford passes every test of nosy out-of-state billionaires, but fails as a Wisconsin judge entrusted with the protection of our people, common sense and law. She needs to be rejected.
