Legion post, auxiliary show their leadership

The Landt-Thiel American Legion Post in Saukville recently participated in a fundraiser for the Milwaukee Homeless Initiative. Post Commander Denise Jamrozy (top photo) stood before a table displaying efforts by the post and its Auxiliary Unit to support the homeless initiative and its poppy program, which supports disabled veterans. The Auxiliary also recently announced its new slate of officers (bottom photo). They are (from left) Karen Uselding, historian; Kathy Watry, treasurer; Carol Stein, chaplain; Mary Ellen Race, president; Katie Linden, first vice president; Cindy Douglas (in the back in blue), secretary; Barb Thill, assistant sergeant at arms; Judy Braam, second co-vice president; Prudence Petrykowski, trustee; and Andrea Jaeger, second co-vice president.
