Legion offers Dorr scholarship

The Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 is again offering a $1,500 Robert H. Dorr Medical Scholarship.

Those eligible include any child or grandchild of a living or dead post member and any resident in the village or town of Belgium.

Applicants must be enrolled in medical school, including a pre-med, nursing or another medical field, and have completed three semesters by Jan. 1.

For applications, call Al Poull at 285-3363 by Dec. 23. Applications are due Feb. 15.
