Leaf collection begins this week
The Village of Fredonia began collecting leaves raked to curbsides this week and will continue to do so at least until Thanksgiving.
This week, leaves are being collected from outside homes west of the railroad tracks.
Collection will be done on the east side of the tracks the week of Nov. 7, on the west side of the tracks the week of Nov. 14 and again on the east side the week of Nov. 21.
Collection will continue after Thanksgiving if needed and weather permitting.
