LACS to offer free admission a few days in February

The Luxembourg American Cultural Center will offer free admission to its museum next month.

On Feb. 1, 4, 5 and 6, the center will not charge admission to residents of Ozaukee and Washington counties.

Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, is required.

Admission is usually $9 for people 14 and older, $7.50 for students, $5 for those ages 6 to 13 and free for members.

A building renovation project was completed early last year to increase space for events and programming, make the research center more user friendly with a dedicated space for genealogists, create a more inviting gift shop and upgrade the rotating exhibit area.

The center is at 100 Peter Thein Ave., Belgium.
