Jonathan L. Diedrich

Jonathan L. Diedrich of Saukville died Sunday, Jan. 20, at home following a sudden illness. He was 45.
Mr. Diedrich was born in Milwaukee on May 3, 1973, to Dennis and Elaine Wood Diedrich. He grew up in Saukville and attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School in 1991. He lived in Grafton and Port Washington before returning to Saukville with his family.
Mr. Diedrich was employed as a welder at Metalcraft of Mayville. He liked woodworking, working on cars and the culinary experience of cooking and enjoying the results.
For many years his cat Dobi was the main focus of his attention, but that quickly changed with the arrival of his son, Logan, 8, and daughter, Luna. 1
Beside his children, his survivors include his fiancée Siobhan Devenpeck of Saukville; his mother of Saukville; sisters Michelle Budreck and Jennifer Diedrich, also of Saukville; and brother Thomas of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.
