Illuminate Ozaukee light show starts Dec. 2

Illuminate Ozaukee, a drive-through holiday light show, will be held at Zeunert Park in Cedarburg Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 2 to 23.

Santa will be on hand to chat with those attending, and there will be a mailbox set up for letters to Santa.

Each of the lit plots was decorated by a local nonprofit organization or business, and those attending may vote for their favorite plots.

Those attending may tune their radio to 93.9 FM to add to the ambiance.

The event, sponsored by the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, is free, but a $10 donation per vehicle is suggested.

Proceeds will benefit the Nonprofit Center and its partner agencies.

The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center concept began in 1994 when several agencies shared space in Cedarburg. In 1999, four of the agencies moved to a larger facility at 2360 Dakota Dr. in Grafton, where the center is located today.

The center provides a space and shared services for a host of nonprofit organizations and human service agencies.
