Hidden treasures in Saukville

Books never get old, and Dyan Barth (right) was selling quite a collection of used paperbacks at the annual Saukville villagewide rummage sale on Saturday, Sept. 12. But what wasn’t for sale was the doll that young Alise Thon clutched (top left), making sure it didn’t get mixed up in the baby toys that were for sale. As far as Rita Cash and Renee Boesch were concerned, it was time for the large clock they displayed to go.
