State and local investigators are asking the public for help in solving a series of “suspicious” fires that have occurred over the last year in the southwest part of the Village of Saukville.

The most recent fire occurred on June 13 in an abandoned house at 143 S. Regis Road.

Previously, a garage fire was reported on Oct. 6, 2017, at 243 S. Claremont Rd., a van was set on fire on Aug. 3, 2017, at 208 S. Judge Drive and that same night a car was set ablaze at 209 S. Judge Drive.

The state Fire Marshal’s office is assisting the Saukville Police Department in the investigation.

Because the fires are still under investigation, further details are not being released, Saukville Police Chief Robert Meyer said.

Residents with information regarding the fires are asked to call Saukville Police at 262-284-0444.
