He’s Panning out

He’s only a sophomore, but Grafton High School’s Michael Pan has already made a name for himself on the tennis court.
Pan this spring was one of four players named to the North Shore Conference first team, after earning a spot on the second team last season.
Pan qualified for the Division 2 state tournament for the second straight season, this time earning a 7 seed, perhaps the first in school history to do so.
He again won his first match before losing, 6-2, 2-6, 11-9 in the second.
“It has been awesome to see his development over the course of this year. He has much more endurance which has helped him win more matches and stay in close matches longer than last year,” coach Joe Brown said.
