Gymnasts are back in action

The Grafton/Cedarburg Co-op gymnastics team took fourth place of eight teams in the Pink Division of the Bradley Invite last Saturday.

The Bullhawks scored 136.425 points. Whitefish Bay won with 144.2. Hartford had 142.725 and Arrowhead had 140.

Mia Ketelhohn was fifth on floor exercise with a 9.425, eighth on vault with a 9.175 and 10th in the all-around with 34.65 points. Paige Arnold was 10th on floor with a 9.15.

Port Washington took seventh in its division of the meet with 104.725 points.

Julia Greisch took 10th on vault with a season-high 8.25.

On Feb. 5, the Pirates lost to West Bend East, 127.275 to 111.2. Greisch got a 7.95 on vault, and Emma Bollech a 7.8. Elaina Makoutz got a 7.45 on floor and Kenzie Stevens a 7.325. Bollech got a 7.125 on beam.

The Pirates were to host a triangular meet on Wednesday against Homestead and Shorewood in what were rescheduled dual meets.

The Pirates and Bullhawks compete in the North Shore Conference meet in West Bend on Saturday.
