Girl Scouts have a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ night to remember

Area Girl Scouts danced the night away at Woodview Elementary School on Friday, Feb. 7, during their annual He and Me ball. The event was titled “Be Our Guest, Be Our Guest, He and Me are on a Quest,” and had a “Beauty and the Beast” theme. About 350 people attended the ball, which was highlighted by a grand march through 26 stained glass-like panels depicting service projects by the Scouts. Top photo, Kurt Rusch twirled his daughter Emily, who was all smiles. Bottom photo, Taylor Scibby, 11, and her father Robert wore eye-catching outfits as characters from the film.
